Hello Cougar Families,
I hope this communication finds you and your family safe and healthy.
I want to thank all of our Cougar families that participated in our Senior survey. Last night the EUHSD board members approved our Graduation Plan. We believe that our plan truly represents Escondido High School student and parent voice.
Our Seniors will have a multi-phase graduation celebration which includes:
- May 29th Senior Cap & Gown pick up 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. (Seniors will also be dropping off their school issued materials, books, calculators, and computers at this time).
- Students who pre-ordered their cap and gown will come to campus between 1:00 pm -3:00 pm
- If student did not pre-order, and wants to purchase their cap and gown please click this link to order. All orders must be made by May 27th. The cost of a cap and gown is $35.95.
- Students who choose to borrow a cap and gown please click this link to order. Students borrowing a cap and gown will come to campus between 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- May 29th EUHSD Senior Celebration Video (not a graduation video).
- The video will be broadcast for all to view on May 29th.
- The link will be shared at a later date
- June 22 - June 26 Senior pictures on campus in cap and gown receiving their diploma on stage.
- Seniors will receive an appointment card on May 29th at the Senior Cap and Gown event.
- At the time of student's appointment, the student will arrive to campus with limited members of their immediate household (Directions will be included on the student appointment card.)
- The graduate and their family will be invited into the gym where the student will walk across the stage, receive their diploma, and have their picture taken.
- Face-to-Face Graduation Ceremony
- Will be held at a future date after we are given permission to gather by our public health department. .
I understand that none of this takes the place of our traditional graduation ceremony. However, I hope you and your Senior know how important they are to us and how much we value them and their high school experience. Thank you for all of your support. Stay safe and healthy.

Quiero agradecer a todas las familias de la preparatoria de Escondido que participaron en nuestra encuesta para estudiantes del último año. Anoche, los miembros de la junta directiva de EUHSD aprobaron nuestro Plan de graduación. Creemos que nuestro plan realmente representa la voz de los estudiantes y padres de la preparatoria de Escondido.
Nuestros estudiantes del último año tendrán una celebración de graduación de múltiples fases que incluye:

- Los estudiantes que preordenaron su toga y birrete vendrán al campus entre la 1:00 p.m. y las 3:00 p.m.

- Los estudiantes del último año recibirán una tarjeta de cita el 29 de mayo en el evento de Senior Cap and Gown.
- Al momento de la cita del estudiante, el estudiante llegará al plantel con miembros limitados de su hogar inmediato (las instrucciones se incluirán en la tarjeta de cita del estudiante).
- El graduado y su familia serán invitados al gimnasio donde el estudiante caminará por el escenario, recibirá su diploma y se tomará una foto.
- Ceremonia de graduación cara a cara
- Se llevará a cabo en una fecha futura después de que nuestro departamento de salud pública nos autorice reunirnos.
