Financial Aid Applications:

CalGrant Application Status – California Student Aid Commission webportal for students to monitor the status & disbursement of their CalGrant

California Dream Act Financial Aid Application – California Student Aid Commission on-line Financial Aid Application for AB540 students

CSS Profile – Financial Aid Application for Private Colleges and Universities, must be submitted in addition to FAFSA by any Senior applying to private 4 year institutions

FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid, should be submitted by all Seniors entering 2 year (Palomar College), 4 year (CSU/UC), Public, Private, Career/Technical (Kaplan/UTI) post-secondary institutions

FAFSA FSA ID Registration – Website for obtaining free ‘FSA ID’, which is simultaneously the login & electronic signature required for submitting FAFSA, each Senior and one parent must obtain an FSA ID prior to submitting FAFSA – this is a confidential login & electronic signature, do not share with anyone!

FAFSA 4 Caster – US Federal Student Aid website, planning tool that will help you understand your options for paying for college – will also provide some basic information and will estimate your eligibility for federal student aid and also provide estimated amounts of other student aid and savings that can go towards your college education.

AB540 & California Dream Act (AB130 & AB131) Information – The California Wellness Foundation & The New Partnership Foundation website of resources explaining the California State Legislature’s: AB540, AB130, AB131

Social Security Administration – Official US Government website with information re: obtaining a copy of your social security number which is required for submitting FAFSA

Selective Service – Official US Government website re: enrolling in the selective service which is required of all males who are submitting FAFSA/Dream Act Applications

US Department of Education – Official US Government website containing a plethora of information re: higher education, resources for planning for college, paying for college, etc.
