Originally known as Memorial Field and then Chick Embrey Field, Wilson Stadium at Chick Embrey Field is perhaps the best high school football facility in California. In 1998, EHS alumnus Bob Wilson and his wife Marion made a generous 2 million dollar donation to renovate the run-down field. After two years of hard work from numerous volunteers, Wilson Stadium opened its gates for the first time on September 11, 1998. The opening of the stadium coincided with the centennial game between EHS and San Diego High School.

Wilson Stadium boasts a well-maintained natural grass playing surface, an electronic scoreboard, an all-weather track, home and visitors bleachers, a press box, concessions stands, restrooms, and wheelchair accessibility with an elevator and numerous ramps. The EHS football, soccer, and track and field teams call Wilson Stadium home, and the EHS Graduation ceremony is held on the field at the end of every school year. Wilson Stadium is something that all memebrs of the EHS family can be truly proud of, and we cannot thank Bob and Marion enough for their generosity!

Next, we travel to the extreme northern edge of campus for a look at one more athletic facility...
