When visiting EHS, the first thing most people see is the Senior Lawn. This beautifully landscaped area is a hangout for hundreds of students at lunch time and during nutrition break. Eight large sycamore trees provide ample shade for students on hot days in early and late summer. A few years ago, the Senior Lawn was renovated to include more benches, new walkways, new grass, new lights, and many new plants. During special events like Club Rush and International Week, the Lawn is transformed into the heart of EHS social life and activities. The Senior Lawn is truly one of the most beautiful areas of EHS, and it adds a touch of character that most other high schools don't have.
