PERSONAL INFORMATION
I grew up in Escondido, and I live here now with my husband, Stephen, and our kitty, Koda. We both love to play and coach basketball, and are active members of our local church, Emmanuel Faith. When I'm not teaching, I love to cook, travel, and watch LOTS of movies.

MOTIVATION FOR BECOMING A TEACHER
I realized that my gifts and skills (math degree, Spanish, coaching and AVID tutoring experience) would be best utilized in the world of teaching where I would have the opportunity to work with and influence our young people in a positive way.
