There are very few schools like Escondido High. Founded in 1894, E.H.S. was one of the first high schools in San Diego County. With over 110 years of history, a school like Escondido High is rich in tradition, and it has positively influenced the lives of literally thousands of students, parents, alumni, and staff members. Likewise, many of these people have given back and positively influenced the school in ways that cannot be measured. We created this section of the site to highlight the people, places, and things that make Escondido High uniquely "Cougar Country."
